Treating Anxiety & Depression - Therapist Not Required

A full day workshop for Educators, Mental Health and Helping Professionals. Participants will be provided with tools and theory to re-conceptualize the support they provide to clients struggling to cope with Anxiety & Depression. With a focus on the creation of powerful and lasting change, Registered Psychotherapist Bonnie J. Skinner will present strategies that build client empowerment through a merger of coaching and psychotherapeutic disciplines.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided by Feeding Your Soul Cafe.

Will any of the content be geared toward working with youth?

Yes. We will demonstrate ways to modify each of the strategies discussed to work with clients of any age!

I am not a member of the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association, can I still get professional development credits for attending this workshop?

While this workshop has been pre-approved for 6 CECs by the CCPA, other registered health care professionals must consult their own Associations/ Regulatory bodies regarding credit approval. We will ensure each attendee receives confirmation of attendance at the conclusion of the workshop.
